Thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass should meet the requirements as described in the standard EN 12150-2, which is a harmonized standard under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) 305/2011.

Scope: This European Standard covers the evaluation of conformity and the factory production control of flat thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass for use in buildings.

Products shall conform to the definition and fulfil the requirements of thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass as defined in EN 12150-1

Note: For glass products with electrical wiring or connections for, e.g. alarm or heating purposes, other directives, e.g. Low Voltage Directive, may apply.
